1. Nature of the Service
Tucson Residents Directory is a privately run reference to public rolls, indexes, portals, and historical collections for Tucson, Pima County, and Arizona. It stores no government database and has no relationship with any custodian, court, library, or agency.
2. Acceptable Use Rules
Use every page and linked source lawfully. You must not use the service or information reached through it to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
This site is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). Nothing here, and nothing any linked search tool returns, is a consumer report, and none of it may be used to judge eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.
4. External Services
Pima County and Arizona portals, library collections, and third-party services set their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content, access, prices, availability, or treatment of submitted data.
5. No Warranty
The service is offered “as is” and “as available,” without warranties. Links, coverage years, fees, office details, and record descriptions may change. No linked portal is guaranteed to operate or return a complete result.
6. Limits on Our Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this site or any linked resource, including decisions made from records found through it.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of this site from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original text, design, logo, and layout of this site are protected by copyright. Linking to any page and quoting brief excerpts with attribution is welcome; republishing full pages or systematically copying content is not.
9. Revisions to These Terms
A revised version may be posted here. Use after its publication counts as acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Cutting Off Access
We may block or restrict any user who violates these terms or abuses the site, at our discretion and without notice.
11. Arizona Governing Law
Arizona law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Official public-record access remains governed by Arizona Public Records Law, including A.R.S. §§39-121 through 39-171, and by any record-specific confidentiality rule.
12. Severability
If any part of these terms proves unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
